Venue

Camp Michael’s will be based at St. Michael’s College Junior School and grounds, Nutley Avenue, Dublin 4. Camp Michael’s will be availing of the many facilities on campus, including the sports hall, computer room, newly built multi-purpose muga yards and state of the art 3G pitch. 

Who can attend?

Boys and girls starting in Senior Infants in September 2023 up to Sixth Form.

Activities

The College’s extensive facilities allow us to provide a whole range of activities. These include computers, arts and crafts, cookery, inflatable sumo wrestler and gladiator games, rounders, tip rugby, tennis, table-tennis, soccer (indoor and outdoor), unihoc, ground hurling, obstacle courses, golf, basketball, athletics, fun games, lego based fun and board games.

Staff

The camp will be operated by the college staff who are qualified, conscientious and experienced. 

Additional Early Morning Supervision

Children may be supervised from the earlier time of 8am for an additional fee of €10 per day for this hour or part thereof. Only children availing of the additional early morning supervision are permitted on the school grounds before 9 a.m.
Applicants should indicate this in the appropriate box on the application form and include the additional fee for this with their full payment in advance of the start of each week.

Sample Day

9:00am - Optional morning supervision

9:30am - Camp activities begin

10:20am - 10:45am: Snack break

12:15pm - 12:45pm - Lunch break

2:50pm - Camp activities end

3:00pm - Last pickup

Supervision will be provided in the school from 9:00am. Boys and girls will be divided into age groups and each group will do five different activities each day.  

What should I bring?

Students should bring a packed lunch, towel, swimming gear, football boots (if possible) and a tennis racket each day.

The rates per attendee are:

Week 1 (Tues June 6th - Fri June 9th) - €130

Week 2 (Mon June 12th - Fri June 16th) - €150

Week 3 (Mon June 19th - Fri June 23rd) - €150

Terms & Conditions

- All medical conditions must be clearly stated on the application form
- Places can only be secured on completion of online form and full payment.
- Places will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
- Camp Michael is a nut free zone so please ensure there are no nut based products in packed lunches for your children.
- The school will be opened at 8am each morning and prepaid supervision will begin then.
- Camp Michael’s will not be responsible for children outside of the hours of 8am-3:15pm.
- All valuable items must be left at home.
- Camp Michael’s reserves the right to expel any participant from the camp if their behaviour is deemed disruptive or dangerous to themselves or other camp participants.
- We / I understand the personal data on this form will be used by Camp Michael for the contractual purpose of registering and maintaining the applicants camp registration.
- We / I understand that by writing to Camp Michael, the applicants personal data will be erased except where the Camp Michael has a clear justification to retain such personal data (e.g. for child safeguarding purposes)
- We / I understand that the applicants data will be used for administration purposes including camp administration, registrations, teamsheets and so on.
- We / I understand that if I do not provide the applicants personal data, their registration for the camp cannot be processed with Camp Michael.
- We / I consent to the processing of the personal medical data as outlined above for the purpose of administration medical assistance to my child if required.
- In the event of illness / injury, I give permission for medical treatment to be administered by a nominated first aider or by suitably qualified medical practitioner.
- If We / I or emergency contact cannot be contacted and my child requires emergency hospital treatment, I authorise a qualified medical practitioner to provide emergency treatment or medication.
